AZZARDÀ BLANC DE NOIR 2022
alc. 12% / vol. 75 cl.
Of an elegant pale straw colour with platinum reflections and a fine, persistent cordon, our Azzardà Blanc de Noir 2022 captivates with its refined appearance. The nose is vibrant and expressive, revealing aromas of wild red berries, delicate citrus zest, white blossoms, and subtle hints of toasted bread. On the palate, the distinctive character of Agiorgitiko takes the lead, with flavours of sour cherry, plum, and blueberry unfolding alongside notes of lemon and grapefruit. Bright acidity brings energy and balance, while the texture is round and structured, with a gentle touch of tannin. The finish is long, savoury, and elegantly refreshing.

VINIFICATION
After a careful manual harvest, the grapes were cooled down to a temperature of 5ºC and then pressed without destemming. After cold static sedimentation in stainless steel tanks, the resulting must was fermented at a controlled temperature of 17ºC for around 25 days. After months of cellar ageing inside the stainless-steel tanks with periodic "bâtonnage", the base wine was bottled for the second fermentation. The wine stayed for at least 24 months in contact with its lees and was disgorged in February of 2025.
